FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. RATES
For indoor accommodation and tented village rates please email larchhill@scouts.ie
For camping rates please email larchhill@scouts.ie

2. AVAILABILITY AND HOW TO BOOK
Please click on the calendar and complete the enquiry form completing all fields or email larchhill@scouts.ie and we will respond as soon as possible.
When Making a booking please include the following information:
- The number of youth members
- The number of Scouters/Guiders/adults
- The dates of your booking and approx. arrival & departure times
- If you wish to book any activities
3. DIRECTIONS AND TRANSPORT OPTIONS
Directions by road, public transport options and private bus hire options are detailed in under the contact tab.
4. ACCOMMODATION
The sleeping capacity of the Larch Hill House & Conference Centre is 56 people the layout of the building can be found under the accommodation tab.
The sleeping capacity of the Centenary Lodge is 26 people the layout of the building can be found under the accommodation tab.
The sleeping capacity of the tented villages is 28 people. Details of the equipment provided with each village can be found under the accommodation tab.
5. ACTIVITIES
Led activities must be booked 3 weeks in advance to ensure we can provide the qualified instructors.
There are a number of self led activities available please view these under the activities tab.
6. RECYCLING
Larch Hill provides general waste, recycling, Compost and glass disposal at our waste compound located at the rear of the car park.
7. SHOWERS
Campers can avail of hot showers throughout their stay, we have a modern shower block located in the car park which is wheelchair accessible.
8. FIREWOOD
Larch Hill has firewood available to our users at two enclosed firewood pile on either side of the car park. We ask campers to return unused wood to the pile.
9. PIONEERING SPARS
Larch Hill has a supply of pioneering spars which are available on a first come first serve basis. These are located in a rake in the main carpark close to the toilet block.
10. BACKWOODS
Larch Hill has many areas suitable for backwoods programme please discuss with the centre manager prior to arrival.
11. SERVICE PROJECTS

12. SHOPS
There are three shopping centres within 5km of the site and Tesco online will delivery to the site.
13. HOSPITALS
Tallaght Hospital is our nearest hospital just 10km from the site.
